Contact supportWhat is KashiKai and who is it for?
KashiKai is a financial organization app for freelancers, sole proprietors and small businesses in Japan. It brings income, expenses, receipts, invoices and records into one account.
Which languages can I use?
The app is available in English, Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Choose your language on the sign-in screen.
What does the free plan include?
The free plan includes up to 20 transactions per month, 5 AI messages per day, a dashboard and basic reports. No credit card is needed to start.
How much is Pro?
Pro Annual costs ¥5,000 per year, billed annually, equivalent to approximately ¥417 per month. Pro Monthly has a standard price of ¥1,980 per month; the ¥980 monthly offer requires coupon FLEX1000. Check the coupon application and terms in Stripe.
Does KashiKai file my return directly with e-Tax?
No. KashiKai helps organize records for kakutei shinkoku (確定申告) and generates reports. The kit contains PDF and CSV files in a ZIP. These CSV files are for reference and organization; they are not presented as direct e-Tax import files. Review and filing happen separately.
Do the estimates replace an accountant?
No. Estimates and AI responses are planning aids. They depend on the information you provide and need to be reviewed. KashiKai does not replace an accountant or qualified tax professional in Japan.
How do I install it on iPhone or Android?
On iPhone, open the app website in Safari, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. On Android, use the install or Add to Home Screen option in a supported browser. The installed app may ask you to sign in again. Browser installation does not require an app store.
How does cancellation work?
Subscriptions renew automatically for your chosen billing period until cancelled. Pro access continues until the end of the paid period. See the terms for cancellation and refund conditions or contact support@kashikai.xyz.
